KOMF visited the Daily Care Center PEMA in Ferizaj. This center has been providing specialized quality psycho-social services for children with disabilities for the past 10 years. In addition to psycho-social services, counseling sessions, speech therapy, and physiotherapy, the Daily Care Center also offers regular sessions for parent support groups aimed at empowering them in the growth and education of their children to fulfill their full potential.

The activities and sessions conducted with children, whether individual or group sessions, aim to develop basic life skills, enhance abilities, build self-confidence and self-esteem, and support children towards empowerment and independence.

In addition to the Municipality of Ferizaj, PEMA operates daily care centers in three other municipalities: Peja, Prizren, and Gjilan.
