KOMF mirëpret vendimin e Qeverisë për rritjen e shtesave për fëmijë, e cila është dokumentuar në shumë vende të botës si instrument efektiv në zbutjen e varfërisë së fëmijëve, parandalimin e uljes së natalitetit dhe rritjen e mirëqenies së fëmijëve dhe familjeve.![]()

📍Me qëllim të krijimit të një skeme të shtesave për fëmijë gjithëpërfshirëse, efektive dhe të qëndrueshme, KOMF propozon: ![]()

➡️Rishikimin e skemës së shtesave për fëmijë me qëllim të përfshirjes së fëmijëve deri në moshën 18 vjeçare. Aktualisht kjo skemë nuk është gjithëpërfshirëse, pasi përfshinë fëmijët deri në moshën 16 vjeçare. Legjislacioni në Kosovë por edhe Konventa për të Drejtat e Fëmijës përcakton moshën e fëmijës deri në moshën 18 vjeçare. Përfshirja e të gjithë fëmijëve është e nevojshme sidomos duke pas parasysh faktin që aktualisht nuk ka ndonjë skemë të aplikueshme për mbështetjen e fëmijëve të moshës 16 – 18 vjeçare.![]()
➡️Krijimin e procedurave lehtësuese për aplikimin dhe përfitimin e shtesave për fëmijë për fëmijët pa kujdes prindëror. Aktualisht, fëmijët pa kujdes prindëror nuk gëzojnë këtë të drejtë dhe nuk përfitojnë nga shtesat për fëmijë.![]()
➡️Rritjen graduale të shtesave për fëmijë duke filluar nga viti i ri fiskal për të siguruar mirëqenien e fëmijëve. Shuma aktuale e shtesave për fëmijë vazhdon të jetë e pamjaftueshme për të përmbushur nevojat e fëmijëve. ![]()
➡️Hartimin e bazës ligjore për shtesat për fëmijë për të siguruar qëndrueshmëri, duke qenë se aktualisht shtesat për fëmijë ofrohen në bazë të një vendimi.
