Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection – KOMF, has concluded a one-week awareness raising campaign regarding the prioritization and strengthening of social and family services.
The aim of this campaign was to further raise awareness and mobilize decision-makers for emergency interventions in the provision of social services for citizens in need, whose situation has worsened as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In line with the aim of the campaign, KOMF has engaged key actors involved in social welfare provision to convey messages about their work to provide social and family services. Through this campaign, the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare and mayors of several municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo expressed their commitment and willingness to invest in quality social services for all citizens. Representatives of civil society and international agencies in Kosovo, through messages, called for the mobilization of decision-makers to invest in social services.
In order to increase the attention of institutions for emergency intervention in providing services to citizens in need, KOMF has placed for a week near the government building, a symbol that represents the responsibility and institutional obligation to ensure social welfare for citizens.
KOMF expresses its gratitude to all the personalities who were part of this campaign.
