KOMF visited theLabyrinth Center, a member organization of the Coalition, which is the only organization in Kosovo licensed to provide services to children and adults using narcotics. Currently, Labyrinth Center provides professional services to about 130 drug users.

During the visit to the Labyrinth Center, we talked about further joint actions for the protection of children, with a focus on regulating the legal basis for the provision of social services for children and adults using narcotics under the new Law on Social and Family Services, the need to expand the current social services financing scheme by the Ministry of Finance, including in the contracting scheme the provision of services for children and adult users of narcotics.

The Executive Director of the organization, Safet Blakaj, especially emphasized the concern for the lack of prevention programs, where he also stated as very concerning the decrease of the age of the users of narcotic substances.
