Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection – KOMF, representing 34 non-governmental organizations, has addressed the Minister of Health regarding the challenges faced by NGOs in providing health services, due to the lack of regulation of their status as healthcare service providers. It is estimated that around 50 non-governmental organizations currently provide integrated health and social services. However, these organizations are not licensed as healthcare providers, primarily due to perceived legal gaps within the Law on Health. This law is considered to contain contradictory provisions regarding the provision of healthcare services by non-governmental organizations and their eligibility for licensing. The Ministry of Health must take action to demonstrate its commitment to accessible and equitable healthcare for all service providers—public, private, and non-governmental .
