The Mileniumi i Tretë School, the Directorate of Social Welfare of the Municipality of Prishtina, and the Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection – KOMF organized the “Sell to Donate” activity, with the aim of promoting the power of children’s engagement and fostering a culture of solidarity, volunteerism, and social responsibility.
An event filled with emotion, solidarity, and creativity, where children’s engagement was transformed into tangible support for their peers in need. Through their active participation, students demonstrated that empathy, humanity, and the willingness to help know no age, and that every action, no matter how small, can make a difference in a child’s life.

During the activity, students raised funds for children in need by selling food, paintings, handmade bracelets, bags, and other crafts they had created themselves. Beyond the financial contribution, the activity also served as an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of supporting children in need and to promote the values of cooperation, care, and inclusion.
The event was further enriched by a musical and artistic program prepared by children and young people, featuring performances by Zjarr Bujari, students of Mileniumi i Tretë School, Lekë Gjurgjiali, as well as “Ylli and Elioni” from the Zë organization, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere for all participants.

Activities such as this demonstrate that when children are given opportunities to take action and contribute, they become ambassadors of solidarity, understanding, and care for one another. Through initiatives like these, a more compassionate, inclusive, and committed community is built, dedicated to the well-being of every child.
