KOMF, the Association of Social Welfare Centers in Kosovo, and the Ministry of Justice convened the closing roundtable on “Social Services Close to the Citizen” with decision-makers and key local professionals from the municipalities of Gjakova, Deçan, and Junik.
In this roundtable the main findings and recommendations of the Analysis on the current situation of Social Welfare Centers were discussed, with a focus on the challenges in the legal, institutional, and functional aspects The participants were also informed about the Manual on planning, monitoring, budgeting and contracting of social services drawn up by KOMF.
This workshop was the last one conducted in the seven main regions of Kosovo. KOMF, the Association of Social Welfare Centers, and the Ministry of Justice will continue their collaboration to further address the relevant recommendations in each municipality.
