KOMF presents the Training Modules for Social Service Professionals

KOMF presents the Training Modules for Social Service Professionals

Throughout the last three days, KOMF conducted the Training Module Presentations for Social Service Professionals in front of the Members of the Training Coordination Committee, which is the professional body of the General Council for Social and Family Services to ensure quality assurance. Engaged consultants presented the key points of the module contents, challenges that may arise during the training, and recommendations for the smooth implementation of training programs.

Over the past months, KOMF has supported the Ministry of Justice in developing nine training modules for social services, which will be part of the training programs under the Department of Social and Family Policy, as well as the General Council for Social and Family Services.

These modules will serve all social service providers in enhancing capacities to provide the highest quality of social services.

The presented modules are:

o Social Work and the Social Work Profession

o Minimum Standards of Social Services for Child Protection (0-18)

o Legislation of Social and Family Services

o Monitoring and Inspection of Social and Family Services

o Case Management, Needs Assessment, and Individual Plan

o Social Policies and Social Protection Programs

o Minimum Standards of Social and Family Services for Persons with Disabilities

o Minimum Standards of Social and Family Services

This activity was made possible under the project “Empowering Social Service Actors to Provide Quality and Sustainable Services for Vulnerable Children and Families in Kosovo,” supported by UNICEF Kosovo Programme in partnership with USAID Kosovo.”
