KOMF in cooperation with the Office for Good Governance – Office of the Prime Minister in Kosovo continues to build capacities at the local level for the implementation of Children Protection Law.

The workshop is was held in the Gjilan Region, with the Municipality of Gjilan, the Municipality of Viti and the Municipality of Kamenica, with the participation of representatives from the Cabinets of Mayors of Municipalities, Municipal Directorates, Municipal Units for Human Rights, Centers for Social Work, school principals, psychologists, pedagogues and representatives of non-governmental organizations. The participants are discussing and being informed about the main issues that affect the protection of the child, such as the reporting of cases of violation of the rights of the child, forms of child protection, preventive measures for the protection of the child, etc.

This workshop was made possible within the project “Strengthening social service workforce to provide continued quality social services for most vulnerable children and families in Kosovo”, supported by Unicef Kosovo Program in partnership with USAID Kosovo.
