The Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection – KOMF, requests from the media to remove the footage published in relation to the event that took place in the Municipality of Podujeva.
Film footage and images that show the victim and minor suspects are not in the public interest and in the function of ethical and professional reporting.

Chapter VI of the Kosovo Written Media Code “Treatment of personal tragedies, protection of children and minors” specifically regulates the reporting of such cases, requiring careful and discreet treatment of them, protection of privacy and respect for their families.

KOMF will submit a complaint to the competent bodies regarding the reports on this case.
