As a Coalition, we had the pleasure of visiting the member organization KRCT – Kosova Rehabilitation Centre for Torture Victims and Feride Rushiti with her team who have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 2025.

As a Coalition, we feel very proud that the work and contribution of the member organization QKMRT led by Feride Rushiti has been appreciated and valued to these proportions.

Feride Rushiti shared the entire journey of KRCT, the continuous and extraordinary work to empower survivors of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, the strong advocacy in creating the legal infrastructure for their recognition and support, raising awareness in society and breaking stigma, supporting them in their search for justice, etc. The successes of KRCT are countless and do not stop.

KRCT will remain an inspiring example for civil society organizations in Kosovo, in Europe and in the world.
