KOMF held the meeting of the Thematic Group on Early Childhood Development at the premises of the member organization Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians.

At this meeting, the modalities of integrating early childhood development services (health, social and educational) were discussed, with the aim of contributing to the process of drafting the Administrative Instruction on intersectoral coordination, which derives from the Law on Early Childhood Education. The document with the modalities for integrating early childhood services will be addressed to Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

In the meeting were also discussed the advocacy actions necessary for the functionalization of the early childhood intervention program within the Family Medicine Centers, as well as the need to prepare the necessary staff and profiles for the implementation this intervention.

Since the meeting was held at the VORAE organization, the members were closely informed for the programs and services offered by VORAE.
