KOMF has addressed the acting Minister, Arbërie Nagavci, with a request for the inclusion of children with disabilities within the Voucher Program. KOMF has closely followed the announcement of the opening of the call for registration of early childhood education institutions within the Voucher Program, which will be implemented until June 2028 and aims to support beneficiary families of the Social Assistance Scheme.

KOMF welcomes this initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation as a positive step towards social equality and the inclusion of children from families in need, however, KOMF expresses concern regarding the lack of inclusion of children with disabilities in this program, who face a multitude of barriers to access early childhood education.
