Representatives from KOMF participated in the three-day annual meeting of the Coalition for the Protection of Children in Bulgaria, which is the largest civil society network in Bulgaria. Over 160 experts from 75 organizations working with and for children and families came together in Plovdiv to outline advocacy topics. In this meeting, there were exchanges of experiences on topics from child protection, quality in education, children’s health, bullying at school, promoting the work of organizations, how to win the fight against disinformation and propaganda, funding opportunities, etc.

KOMF presented the findings of the Report Card for Kosovo, as well as had exchanges with child protection organizations. Also, KOMF took a lot of good practices and opportunities for KOMF in Kosovo.

The Coalition for Child Protection in Bulgaria remains a mentor for the further development of KOMF. Last year NMD supported KOMF in developing the first Report Card for Kosovo. While, during 2024 we will start a new process together – the development and increase of the involvement of children and young people.
