KOMF Steering Committee, consisting of Petrit Tahiri President – Kosova Education Center – KEC, Sebahate Hajdini Beqiri – Down Syndrome Kosova, Rexhep Sefedin Gojnovci – Akti Youth Organization and Vlorian Molliqaj – Action for Mothers and Children, held the regular meeting, where it was discussed for priorities, actions for the period September – December 2022, as well as for challenges, needs and opportunities.
From September, KOMF will undertake intensive actions and activities for the postponing the approval of the Social Services Project and the Local Government Finances Bill.
KOMF will design the program for accreditation for the Child Protection Law and will organize workshops in the municipalities of Kosovo to raise awareness and mobilize professionals for its implementation.
The priority will be the drafting of the instruments for Planning, Budgeting, Contracting Scheme and Monitoring of social services in the municipalities, as well as raising the capacities for their use.
Actions will be developed in the field of early childhood, breastfeeding and immunization.
The empowerment of member organizations for raising funds from corporations and businesses will be done through the drafting of the Manual for Raising Funds from corporations and businesses and continuous training.
