KOMF in cooperation with the Office for Good Governance – Office of the Prime Minister in Kosovo is continuing the awareness and capacity building of professionals at the local level about the role and responsibilities of each one to realize and implement efficiently the provisions of the Law on Child Protection, respectively protection of the child’s rights.
The next workshop was held with the municipality of Drenas, Skenderaj and Malishevë, with the participation of representatives from Municipal Directorates, Municipal Units for Human Rights, Centers for Social Work, Police Stations, Probation Service, Basic Prosecutor’s Office, school directors, psychologists, lecturers and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
The participants are discussing and being informed about the main issues affecting child protection, such as reporting cases of child rights violations, forms of child protection, preventive measures for child protection, etc.
This workshop was made possible within the project “Strengthening social service workforce to provide continued quality social services for most vulnerable children and families in Kosovo”, supported by Unicef Kosovo Program in partnership with USAID Kosovo.
