KOMF has held the regular meeting of the Thematic Group on Child Protection.

In this meeting the members of the group discussed the main findings and recommendations derived from the monitoring report 2020 with focus in finding new alternatives to further promote recommendations and to trigger changes toward the decentralization process.

Also, during the meeting, it was discussed on the new initiatives that can be undertaken toward the new government, for the draft law on Local Government Finance (Specific Grant for Social Services) and the draft law on Social and Family Services, aiming to contribute toward the completion of the decentralization process.

Lastly the advanced draft of the Manual on Prevention of Covid-19 in Social Services aiming to finalize and validate the document.
