2 April 2021
On occasion of 2nd of April – International Autism Awareness Day, KOMF through a Press Release appealed toward institutions and decisionmakers, for inclusiveness and sustainability of needed services for these children.
The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the differences in the world, especially in health care and inclusiveness. Children with autism continuously face these differences, which were more evident during the pandemic. Many of these children remained without the essential health, social and educational services.
KOMF expressed gratitude for its members, service providers for children with autism, which despite the challenges and financial constraints, have continued to offer services for children and families during the pandemic.
KOMF once more appeals for awareness regarding the autistic specter disorder, and improvement of life and wellbeing of these children.
