KOMF and Terre des Hommes held two discussion roundtables on the implementation of the Law on Child Protection.
These roundtables included representatives from the municipalities of Peja, Gjakova, Prizren, Klina, Istog, Deçan, Junik, Suhareka, Dragash, Malisheva, Skenderaj, and Rahovec, as well as Prishtina, Fushë Kosova, Obiliq, Drenas, and Gjilan. Participants had the opportunity to discuss and share insights about the level of implementation of the Law on Child Protection within their municipalities.
The purpose of these roundtables was to raise awareness and mobilize municipalities and professionals to implement the Law on Child Protection, enabling the provision of quality and sustainable services for children.
These roundtables were made possible within the framework of the project “Social Justice for Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian Communities in Kosovo – Phase II,” funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by partner organizations Terre des hommes, Voice of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians, and HEKS/EPER.
