Today, the Coalition of NGOs Child Protection – KOMF and the Association of Centers for Social Work Kosovo signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

This agreement aims to establish cooperation in the field of protection and promotion of social services, social protection and children’s rights in Kosovo between KOMF and LQPS.

The main areas of cooperation include:

• Joint advocacy for the advancement of social services, social welfare, the regulation of sustainable financing for social services;

• Cooperation in the development of research, analysis and publications related to social services and children’s rights in Kosovo;

• Cooperation in monitoring the situation of respect for children’s rights in Kosovo;

• Cooperation in the exchange of experiences with international organizations of social work and NGOs for the protection of children.

During the meeting, Donjeta Kelmendi and Sebahate Hajdini Beqiri from KOMF and Blerim Shabani, Adelina Rexhepi Braha and Abaz Xhigoli from ACSW, discussed the current state of social services and improving the quality of services for vulnerable children and families.
