KOMF Enhances Social Services Capacities: The Training Series Begins

KOMF, over the past few months, has supported the Ministry of Justice in developing nine modules to enhance the capacity of social services. These modules will be part of the training program under the Department of Social and Family Policies and the General Council for Social and Family Services. These modules will serve all social service providers in enhancing capacities to provide the highest quality of social services.

In this regard, KOMF has initiated a series of capacity-building training sessions for social service providers in all regions of Kosovo. On August 24th, the first day of the two-day training titled “Empowering the Inspectorate in Social Services of the Family” was held, involving social service providers and professionals from the municipalities of Gjilan, Kamenica and Viti.

This activity is made possible within the framework of the project “Empowering social service actors to provide quality and sustainable services for vulnerable children and families in Kosovo,” and is supported by UNICEF Kosovo Programme in partnership with USAID Kosovo.
