KOMF held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, where they discussed the advancement and cooperation for the protection of the rights of children in Kosovo.

KOMF representatives discussed facts on the situation of children in Kosovo and introduced the need to immediately address them. They discussed the possibilities to reduce child poverty, on health of children, social protection, increasing quality in education, development in early childhood, and prevention of violence against children.

President Osmani said there is a must to increase investment and quality in education, prioritize early education, and develop long term reforms in order to improve situation of children. She highlighted that during her five-year mandate protection of child rights will be one of the priorities of her engagement.
