KOMF held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Minister of Justice Albulena Haxhiu and the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci. During this meeting the representatives of KOMF and the Republic of Kosovo discussed on the protection of children in the fields of social welfare, health, education, early childhood and juvenile justice.

KOMF representatives shared with the Government evidence regarding the bad situation of children in Kosovo and asked for its engagement to address the issues that require immediate intervention. KOMF requested the establishment of the Specific Grant for Social Services in frame of the Law on Local Government Finance. In order to ensure minimum financing of social services for children and families.

Prime Minister Kurti expressed his will and availability to continuously cooperate with KOMF in addressing the needs of children and improving the conditions for the development of their full potential.
