KOMF and the Organization for Children Without Parental Care – OFAP in cooperation with the Association of Municipalities of Kosovo held the meeting of the Collegium for Health and Social Welfare.

In this meeting it was discussed about the reform and empowerment of social services in municipalities. n this regard, Vlora Limani Hajnuni expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Justice to develop the social reform.

The participants also discussed the challenges faced by Social Work Centers in providing services. Adelina Sahiti, Director of Social Welfare in the Municipality of Pristina, presented the municipal plan and funding for social services, emphasizing the importance of supporting non-governmental organizations that provide social services to citizens in need.

This meeting was made possible by the project “Joint Action for Decentralization,” financed by the European Union and managed by the EU Office in Kosovo, implemented by the Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection in Kosovo – KOMF in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages in Kosovo, the Organization for Children Without Parental Care – OFAP, and KMOP.
